Signed up for Pokerstars (Pokerstars.de Pokerstars FR) last night, mainly so I can play the tournaments off here. Decided to give the sng a go anyway, must say I am impressed with the structure of them

Anyway cashed my first two $5 ones on there, so gave a $10 a go.

Want your thoughts on this decision please

Any reads or stats?

Villain is raising into two short stacks, and could have a pretty big range. If he's a maniac type, I will probably stop n go here (call, and push most flops), but if he's a tag, I'm just folding.

Since you believe hes been stealing a lot recently, I think you should shove here. You only have around 7 BB and you need to make a move. I think you are ahead of his range. You have very little fold equity, but he might fold a total garbage hand and if he calls I think you will be ahead more than your behind here.

Your decision here is either reraise all in or fold. Reraising all in would be a good move here but remeber you still have the big blind who has a shorter stack than you that might call it hoping for a heads up all in showdown. If the original raiser calls, you know your probably facing a better hand. Maybe I'm too cautious when it comes to shortstacked situations but I would fold here.

I lean towards a fold. 2nd choice: over the top all in. Stop and go would be a 3rd.

What benefits does coming over the top have to playing a stop and go?

Push all-in, if you have noticed him making the same play from the same position consistantly, you most likely have him beat here.

Lesmurphy had been on the steal over the past few rounds

Does this mean you noticed he raised the last couple buttons?

Against a tight player I fold, I really want to be first in here.

Loose player who I am pretty dam sure is on the steal and ahead of their range I probably go all in.

I'm not sure about the stop and go here, I think its just go or fold, most likely fold. We just paid the SB and can wait to be first in.

Yep stealing on the button last few rounds.

I hate to move all in with such a weak hand, think that is why my play has been a bit weak in the sng.

I will post what i did when i find the hand history again

Based on the fact i thought he was stealing, I moved all in, I never expected him to fold

Got unlucky on the river, better news is I cashed in at second in a $5 mtt on Absolute, my first ever final table of an mtt, am dead proud of myself.
