In this hand I had 7bb and two players left for the ITM, the villain was the chip leader at the table, and was going all-in in every hand.

But I forgot one small detail, whoever has the most chips always wins.😁🤣

Would you fold to risk getting in the money?🤔

Thats a easy call, especially if you think, his range is almost any two cards. With 7BB it still has a lot of value to dubble up and try to make a run for the final table. And even more so in a freeroll, where a min-cash is usually only pennies.

It was the right choice but the wrong result. It's a freeroll too, so you probably didn't miss out on much blinding down into the money.

With the CC freerolls, the min-cash is usually at least 75c-1.5$ in Pokerstars. 🤑 🤣
Still not exactly life changing money. So no reason to get blinded down just to secure a min-cash. Also this post almost belong in the "bad beats and vents" section due to its title. And yes OP suffered a bit of a bad beat here. But why even care about it, when its a freeroll? Its not like, he lost anything other than his time :)

I would fold for the money because this is a freeroll- It is not a mistake to call at all --but if we are playing in a freeroll it is to get some money for bankroll so the cash out is worth more than the double up in this exact spot-

I agree with you, if I had folded, maybe I would have made the money, but folding a pair of 10s, knowing that villain was opening with all the rubbish, I couldn't resist, it was such a cute hand.

It was a fine call ICM -Chip EV -Exploit play----all call here- we only fold to snag the min cash in a freeroll with 2 left and several players with shorter stacks than you🤑🤑🤑🤑- That min cash can let us play in a real cash game which is the goal
