Hey all - this is from a pokerstars 50 cent tourney I was recently playing. After thinking through this hand, I think I made the mistake by limping in instead of shoving all in (or raising) given my small stack size but I wanted to get input from others.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Stacks:

* BB with 9979
* UTG with 13505
* UTG+1 with 17350
* MP1 with 445
* MP2 with 28829
* MP3 with 8481
* CO with 2092
* BTN with 6405
* SB with 9228

You probably shouldve went all-in pre-flop but considering the size of the players stacks I can understand why you didnt. But still the guy caught a running straight no matter what you did after the flop you were gonna lose for sure.

You were shortstacked here so a shove preflop probably would have been the best move.

With your stack size it's an easy shove from an positiion.

Shove!! At this point in a mtt when your this short stacked you have to shove or don't play the hand. There is no point in calling. You can't be afaird to shove this hand here.
