Besides the huge overbet preflop with KK, I actually like franchizemt's play here. There are no real draws on the flop or turn and he has the nuts the whole way. Given the other donk called the bet pre-flop, why not give him a chance to hang himself?

Yeah franchise got the most out of his monster, given the situation. Took advantage of his position + other guy being shortstacked therefore more prone to making a move. No real scary cards, except for a gutshot on the turn i guess. If he had bet earlier other guy would have folded.

obvious play money move, double up quickly or go home. How else do you explain that move and someone sitting at your table with over 4k in chips at the 10/20 blind level.

I guess i dont mind the play myself, But im pretty sure frachizemt would have done the same with a flop of KJQ or K109 of hearts. Some people are more afraid of not getting to show their big hand, then they are of being drawn out on.

Baaa gaaak is a doofus but franchize makes a nice play... the situation warranted a slow play... no flush or straight draws or anything threatening on the flop, give the opponent an opportunity to make a pair or two. I'm guessing(before I saw the results) that Baaa gaaak probably hit a pair of Qs on the turn or even a pair of 2s on the river and thought he could semibluff his way to a big pot.
