KK i hate them

what eles can i do.

this morning in my $3R to the sunday million, i got KK vs AQ, and flop came an A, out in 61st, that hand would of put me in 6th if it held up.

next well you all know how peterpans 88, cracked my AA. in the bounty game. lol

then in the $3R cash tournie, i get KK vs AQ again. another A on the flop.

well now im broke and gotta give the 50fpp freeroll a try to get some kind of roll. and i look to see "KK" looking at me again.

i grab my hair and YELL "I HATE KK"

Don't let past beats affect how you play these types of hands. If you start limping with KK, you'll start seeing even worse results. Raise them hard preflop, and you can safely assume you're beat when there's an ace on the flop as people at the micro and low limits will play ace-anything for a raise.

I know its tough to lose with kings but if you are going to limp with KK then be prepared to get beat with them. Remember the point of limping/slow playing is to gather lots of chips which means you will risk them too rather than win a small pot.

In hand number 2 what's with the mini-bet, mini-bets suck. If you want an ace to come along for the ride keep making mini-bets. AQ might have come along anyway but I suspect that your mini-bet showed weakness on your part in his mind and the subsequent bets meant nothing to him. However if you mini-bet was designed to bring in someone else, then it worked. Just remember most hands that will follow you in will have aces in them.
