Jocker was on roll all weekend. Beat me heads up to win this one with a less favored hand. Congrats to all that placed.

Why? 4 bb's is a pretty standard raise. Nobody reraised him.

Anyway, there's nothing really wrong with the way you played this hand. Maybe you could have folded to the shove, but a lot of people are willing to shove w/ just top pair.
If you are going to bust, you may as well do it early. If you had invested more time & the money/higher-money was near, then folding may have been a better option.

Looking at it in relation to the size of the stacks, it's a pretty weak bet IMO. Nobody reraised most likely because they want to see the flop and hope to draw a better hand. Personally I'd go with a minimum 10BB raise, maybe more.

When you get 4-bet all-in with almost full stacks on the flop and your holding a single pair, esp agaisnt several PF callers, do you really still think you ahead. Ezy fold.

All you'll probably get out of that is a blind steal, and the blinds are worthless at this point.
Not to mention you grossly give away the strength of your hand.

Eh, it's close. I don't know about you but I see KQ, KJ, KT in spots like this about 20 times a week

We should have some sort of "Bad Beat" section for hands like this!? ;)

This'll be the Pokerstars game that is still shown on the Calender as being on Sunday then? :(

It is NEVER EASY to fold AA. We are creatures of greed, and that instinct raises its ugly head as we raise the pot.

It was early, I was railing, and this revelation occurred; with the bets starting out there so relatively meaningless (average was still 1500, so 90 was relatively meaningless), a much bigger bet (at least 5x) is needed early to get the same results you would hope for later, when the bets are bigger, and bet/stack ratios declines.

Would joker have folded to a 5x pf raise?

No, and neither would fegulardave.
Also, neither one of these guys is going to be aggressive post flop (as seen here) unless they have a HUGE hand.
