I would've folded AQo and waited for a better position and hand. Far too likely a stronger hand was at play.

may not have got him to fold with an All In but a good 75% of his chips might have worked cant explain why they will go all in and fold to a heavy percentage, but they do! I myself will fold the A - bitch most of the time ( I lose more than I win)

Yeah, I doubt you could have made him fold regardless. I don't think I could've folded AQos being shortstacked and only having 6xBB left. Personally, I think you made the right play, and that's just bad luck.

I don't see how the end result would have differed if you didn't raise preflop. It's obvious Wildjaxx ,being the short stack on the table, has less that 5 1/2 BB left and is completely looking to commit whats left of his chips into the pot with any marginal/made hand dealt to him. He did however make a mistake limping in preflop. What if you didn't raise and elected to fold? Both the blinds may have seen the flop cheap perhaps out drawing him. Nonetheless, given both of your hands were exposed, this is but a mere classic race going in just 2 percent behind.

With an M<5 coming over the top of an UTG limper with AQo is a no-brainer and your bet indicates you were committed so other players should realize it was effectively an AI bet.

In this hand I doubt that an AI from you would have forced the 22 out. I actually think that the 22 was hoping for a chance to double up or go home here.

Strange, the short stack limping under the gun, always suspicious. I would have pushed with the AQ and be happy with a call. Like woody I don't often win with them.

AQ and JJ horrible hands for me
