It's fine to bet pot turn, your opponent could have many draws on this board, but can fold if you going all-in.

When this is the flop and I with a hand that virtually no fears no other KK usually have two lines or check (...) or bet half the pot or even nearly the pot. (...) As it is a free tournament, I think any line you adopt, reaching decision with all his chips in the middle is correct .. Recalling that he may have the best hand on the flop, but it is a free tournament, chances are almost zero.

You played this hand fine. On the river villain probably has 6x, but I don't think we can fold getting better than 3 to 1, especially in a freeroll where he could just be clicking buttons.

great. thanks for feedback. at least i now know that there was no folding to that river bet.

so this is what he shows

Final Pot: 40,849
Hero shows pair
K:heart: K:club:
BB shows straight
2:diamond: 6:club:
BB wins 41,258 (net +20,874)
Hero lost 19,975

i know it's a freeroll but still... 62o? this happens in real money tournaments too by the way. makes me wonder if all these analysis and strategic/tactical play is worth it in online poker :|

I'd raise a little more preflop with the antes to 1800.

I'd bet close to post on the flop. I like a pot bet on a wet flop holding KK.

On the turn I'm controlling the pot size by just checking back.

He has lots of hands in his range with a 6. 66, A6c, 67, 65.

You might even call a small bet on the river but you'd still have 15 blinds if you folded the river if you controlled the pot on the turn.

you can bet bigger on all streets, and you can also overbet the pot since this is a freeroll. I'd say the same result will happen, but i don't encourage overbetting to stop draws, i encourage it because people will call all in pretty regularly with draws, so i want most of the chips in before the river.

So i'd bet like 4-5k on theflop and jam turns pretty regularly in these games. But again, it's not to stop people calling, it's because people will call when they have a hand, a draw or whatever, they will call you, so we're just maximising our value when we have a really strong hand. Like, as played if he misses his draw on the river, we miss out on a likely 7k chips.
