I know it's a free tournament, I also know it's just the beginning, but the question is, is right to give up this hand?

On a Poker Stars freeroll pocket queens is an automatic all in every time especially on a first hand.
It is either the third best starting hand or the fourth best starting hand and if you don't build a stack fast in these over crowded Pstars rolls you are dead in the water.

Since this is for analysis and not the bad beat thread, this is how your post should look. Leave out the results for unbiased advice.

That is rough but it happens it is going to be very hard to fold queens preflop first hand of the tourney and is rarely ever done. It is nearly impossible from the info to just assume your opponent has AA or KK when you are dealt QQ but that happens as well in fact has many times to me. I would have to say I would have called too and tried to accept the bad loss as variance and try to move on because it happens. Usually you run in to these for lack a better word donks and crush them but sometimes they win so I try to take the good with the bad. Good Luck!

Yes, it is to analize this one actually does not make much difference, leave the sample result, but thanks for the suggestion.

Freeroll? First hand? Hell yes, you played it right.

If he folds, you collect the pot without having to worry over being outdrawn.

If he calls and you win, you double up and have a nice stack that sets you up well for the game ahead.

If he calls and you lose, you've lost no money and about one minute of your time.

If I'm dealt pocket kings I assume I'm about to bust out, and I usually do. Paired Pocket paint makes me nervous and I with no info on how the pusher plays, I assume they have AA, KK or AK. Not a good risk that early in a tournament.

If you "usually bust out when dealt pocket kings" then you're playing the hand incorrectly.
