I thought 'check would be the best option here, to induce him to desperate bluff on the river, he had no information, but his hand seemed to have no strength, because it showed to be that way throughout the hand, I thought it was the best way to play this hand. someone thinks the same?

On the river I actually think checking is good because there are 2 main hands he is likely to have: A busted flush draw, or a King.

vs. a busted flush draw if you bet he'll just fold close to 100% of the time, but some villains will bluff the river when you show weakness and they have no showdown value, so facing busted flush draws you'll always do better with checking.

vs a random King they must think their hand is good and they are likely to value bet with almost any king and then you can raise.

and if they have any other hand they will just fold to your shove, or they already beat you (like 88 or AQ will probably fold and 66 or KQ will call you, but they beat you).

River need bet for value like 50% of the pot, villain can call with trips or two pairs..
