Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 80/160 Blinds 20 Ante (9 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com/

saw flop | saw showdown

MP1 (t9,885)
MP2 (t1,830)
MP3 (t48,679)
CO (t400)
Button (t9,890)
SB (t3,670)
Hero (BB) (t6,189)

Hero's M: 14.74

Preflop: Hero is BB with K

2 folds, MP1 calls t160, 3 folds, Button calls t160, 1 fold, Hero checks

Four to the flop, why not check my hand in the big blind?

Flop: (t740) Q

(3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets t320, Button calls t320, Hero raises to t800, MP1 calls t480, Button calls t480

I raised because I had been stealing pots a lot at the time. I felt that I could have done a slightly bigger raise and I knew that a queen could call me.

Turn: (t3,140) 10

Hero checks, MP1 bets t1,440, 1 fold, Hero calls t1,440

I checked because I will be bluffed here (I had saw before that villain would do this). And a bit of pot control at the same time.

River: (t6,020) 4

(2 players)
Hero bets t160, MP1 raises to t3,280, Hero calls t3,120

The lead on the river I made look pretty weak. I did it incredibly quickly, and the minimum. I knew I would be raised for about my stack (which I was).

Total pot: t12,580

What was your opinion on this hand? Or how would you have played it?

Results below:
Hero didn't show K

(two pair, Kings and fours).
MP1 didn't show

You're saying that neither opponent would have been likely to call with a Q if you hadn't been stealing pots. What indication did you have that both had loosened up their play? And what about the rest of their ranges? Doesn't how good or bad a C/R is here depend on what their entire calling ranges are? And even if it's not bad, can you make a solid case that it's the best line?

When I saw this hand, the question that came to my mind wasn't about maximizing value. It was whether you had fallen prey to FPS.
