Preflop
Raising to 3BB is very large, when you only start with 23BB. The main issue is, you lose to much, when you fold to a 3-bet. Somewhere between a min-raise and 2,5BB works much better with this stack size. Not the biggest issue in a freeroll but why not use freerolls to get fundamental things like open sizes right.

Flop
Its a very coordinated flop, and you dont even have a BDFD, so I am ok skipping the C-bet here.

Turn
When he check again, I think, you are much more likely to be ahead, so you could actually bet small now for thin value and protection.

River
As played I am not hero calling with AJ high. He is betting full pot, so you are not getting a good price, and you dont even have a flush blocker. If you want to sometimes call here with AQ or AJ to "keep them honest", then pick those combos, that have A of diamonds, so that he cant have the nut flush. I think, this actually matter, when he pick such a polarizing sizing, because he is essentially saying, that he rivered a flush, or he is bluffing.
