I have a note that BTN slow plays AA from UTG
And BB is tilted having lost 3 all in right before this hand and lost the tournament chip lead.

1. Should I 3-bet the BTN raise?
2. Is folding to that 3-bet from the BB ok?

When the effective stack is less than 20BB, I pretty much never call any hand from SB. Maybe there is an argument for calling AA or KK as a "trap" hoping to induce the kind of action, which you got. But other than that, if its good enough to play, its also good enough to jam. Jamming gives you fold equity and take away your positional disadvantage.

As played I dont think, I would fold to the 3-bet either. According to your reads, BB is a fish on tilt, so he could have a very wide range here, and BTN is likely to know that, so he can be wide as well. So for me AJs is good enough to go with here, even though fold equity is likely limited, when they have already put in 7BB each. If I run into it and lose the hand, then so be it. This is a freeroll, and in general freerolls are not the time to make nitty folds and avoid variance.
