It's a raise from me a better action pre-flop?

The SB has VPIP 29 PFR 13 after 17 hands played...…given that I have good pot odd on every betting rounds and that I believe that Villain does not show that much strength on his betting pattern do you guys think the way i played this hand is ok?

Preflop
I do lean towards a raise with a hand as strong as 88. If the limper then jam, I am happy to play a flip with him, and if SB call again, at least I have position on him. Taking the free flop is not terrible though.

Flop
Its a very small bet, but with two overcards on the board, no club and the limper still left to act behind, I would probably still just fold and move on to the next hand as played. The issue is, if you are behind here, you are way behind, and even if you improve on 8c, that might give someone else a flush.

Turn
As played probably still folding now. Its still a relatively small bet, but what are we really hoping, he has here, other than a complete airball?

River
As played I would call down now, because he bet so incredibly small, that I am getting 10:1. If nothing else we get to see his hand and take a note on, what he took for this weird sizing.
