Knowing the stack sizes would be nice but otherwise... that flop's seven high and unless the villain is a nit we can call here and expect to be ahead of two overs / TPTK / other overpairs and naked (but stupid) bluffs.

If we knew the stack sizes we might want to vary the preflop raise slightly, I have a feeling we can probably go a little higher with the amount already in the pot. But otherwise you're folding to the flop bet pretty much 0% of the time.

If you want the best advice possible then read this before posting in HA:

https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-hand-analysis-51/hand-analysis-posting-guidelines-68850/

And post the hand like this for feedback:

(Include top portion that gives blind sizes and chip stacks)

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to dawggbob27 [Ah Ac]
tizzington: folds
commandore: folds
paktol: calls 150
supercintya: raises 150 to 300
kochergat: folds
dawggbob27: ???

(get feedback on this play - then post the next part)

dawggbob27: raises 450 to 750
bigassedbird: folds
ogre face: folds
paktol: folds
supercintya: calls 450
*** FLOP *** [7d 5c 2h]
supercintya: bets 525 and is all-in
dawggbob27: ???

Then get feedback on this play

Only post the results after you have been given feedback/advice on how to play the hand. Otherwise we move them to brags and bad beats. :)

You will get good advice from members who do not know the outcome of the hand. (Also a lot of members who like to help others in hand analysis prefer that the hands be converted).

No, you got donked. Even if you went all in on the flop its a freeroll, he would have probably called after his raise. I played two freerolls one morning, once I was all in with KK before the flop, got called against by A8, then in another freeroll all in preflop with QQ, called by A9, they both caught their aces, it happens... lol.

There was no way they wouldve folded that flop at all.. you had the over pair..

They are just donks for calling that preflop raise.. You have to remember your in a freeroll and they will go all in with Ace X Anything...

It's not your fault.. As many have said.. It Happens.

good luck in your future tournies though

I think it happens all the time. I changed/adjust my way of play as often as I can. I would play the same way you did. anyway it's poker.

Yeah, sometimes it just happens that AA gets cracked. I steam over those, when you clearly get the best of it when the money goes in. What could the player be calling your preflop raise with? Not usually a hand like 77, 55, or 22, and almost certainly not 27 (although it is a freeroll, someone is more likely to jam it with poor hands than to call your raises).

You didnt do anything wrong in this hand. I guess thats jsut poker and im pretty sure you were about a 93% favorite preflop so....theres not much you can do.

These things happen in freerolls and you just gotta suck it up, and register for the next one :D
