A smaller reraise is the best thing to do, the blinds are too small for an all in bet, make it about 500 total. If he calls c-bet any flop but the really scary ones, if he's a calling station, value bet every street.

Maybe against an extremely aggressive player, you could just call, and check/raise the flop, just watch out for scary boards and only do this if you are 100% sure he will c-bet

i agree with wrung you dont want to scare them out of the pot u really want to bet enough to get most to fold leaving you heads up with one person and possible 2

The all-in isn't going to work most of the time. I assume you have seen enough hands with this opponent to determine whether the guy is playing "serious" or not. Anybody playing the tourney in a "serious" manner is not going to call that all-in unless your image is of a complete idiot.

A reraise to 600 or so should suffice. He probably would have folded anyway but if he calls, get prepared to shove on the flop unless you have the nuts.
