Usually when I floop it stinks.. However you still could have made a value bet on the river cause if you know you are going to win anyway, a value bet may get more money.

That was pretty horrible, you gave yourself the smallest chance you could of actually winning anything significant. :p

This is a great chance to pop it up to 300 or so. They seem like pretty bad players, one of them will most likely call.

Yeah, you were probably thinking "I want to keep both other players in" here, but you're still better off betting out a decent amount and hoping one of them has something decent enough to call with.

...ya think? ;) You have 2 other players in, either make a small bet that looks like a value bet or make an overbet that looks like a bluff, depending on the other players.

Edit: Fold preflop, too.

Thanks for the quick replies, Was thinking at the time "bet here KK now" but didnt in hoping one would make a massive raise. Wrong play I know, but you live and learn:)

Well not really, was about to press auto fold, when I noticed I was small blind and it had'nt been raised, so it was only an extra $25 to call( first round of blinds) sng.

I think I would have played it like you did,I found if you make a big raise then most drop out and you lose their chips. I always hope they make a big raise and then call them so I have more chips to drag! LOL Well I'm saying that is I know it's a sure thing.

I probably would have raised on the turn and river but not a big raise. Maybe a minimum raise on the turn and a bigger raise on the river.

You should fold this preflop even if it is only 25 to call...

Anyways, raise the turn. Bet the river (1/2 pot at least)

General rule is that many players lose money by slowplaying too much.

Something I have been trying to cut out

I dont think you did much wrong here Kat - you only know now what they had, and that they probably would have called further bets. The check on the river would have worked a treat if one of your opponents was chasing the ace which is a possibility - in hindsight a bet would have been better, but you only know that now!
