Did I make the right move here? JJ is definitely ahead of their ranges at that stakes but is it really worth the risk? Doubling up doesn't necessarily mean I double my chances of winning

anytime someone makes a ridiculous raise like this one, im inclined to shove over with hands such as jacks, though, its the bottom of my range for doing so. id shove with jj+ AK.

the reason i say this, is that someone who makes a silly raise like that, most probably has no idea what they are doing. so you can assume they are horrible players, and your right, your hand crushes their range. and id assume they would be much smaller if they had a big pair. so shoving here is fine.

First hand in a $1 MTT with JJ, you're ahead of a lot of people's all in ranges here, people stack with all kinds of junk in the first hand, given the raise size JJ is good enough here to get it in, if he shows up with QQ+, you're still ahead of their range imo and it's an ok shove
