You have an effective M of over 10 why are you shoving over the top of a early position raise in what you are hoping is coin flip? I assume you had a read to do this but I think you can find a better spot to take such a risk after putting in so much time.

Villain has raised to 6bb is it? Therefore we have very very very little fold equity, so we have to rely on a,7 winning the hand. With a healthy chipstack like you have, i just lay it down preflop and just look to steal blidns and antes instead of playing all ins with marginal hands.

All actions are dependant on reads though ldo, which surely you must have reaching the final 4 of a large mtt

I have to say I'm folding this pre-flop for sure unless I'm against some kind of raise every hand no matter what maniac. A pre-flop raise that big makes me worried-at the very least-that my ace is dominated.

But it was s00ted!!! (So that way, when you're dominated, you're only a 30% underdog, rather than 28%).

Lol the worst thing about this hand is that I let someone talk me into doing that call. I was pretty drunk by then and the villan took ages to call after I went all in.

I was so angry with my self I 100% would and should have folded this hand, sad thing is I mucked better hands on the final table.

I put this hand here to get you all to shame me, beause a) I deserve it, b) I need you all to to tell me how bad it was so next time something like this happens I remember this!!!!

Thanks all

No reason to play let alone push a weak ace right there (unless you thought he was stealing your blinds all the time) still a risky move.
Yeah blame it on beer.
Were you card dead at the time ?????? was that the first ace you saw in hours and got excited???
mmmmmm beeer

More to the point, you got there on your own, why take advice then?
Don't drink & take poker advice.
