This was a live tournament so bear with me. I'm thinking if I checked the flop I might have had a chance to get out of the hand.

Blinds are 25/50. It's early so the average stack is 3500. I have about 3800. Player in middle position raises to 200. Middle and late position folds. I look down and see :kc4: :ks4: I reraise to 450. The remaining players fold but the original raiser calls. The flop:

:as4: :10h4: :ah4: .

I bet 300. He calls.

Turn:

:7d4: .

I check. He checks.

River:

:kh4: .

I bet 600, He reraises to 1200. I call.

I won't post the result right now but you can tell in the beginning of this thread I lost.

Hand is played fine imo, though I might bet around 800 on the river and possibly re-raise all in depending on reads.

Preflop I'd have bet more. Pot has 275 in it so I'd raise to at least 650 to make it easier to get it AI.

Flop is horrendous for you. He had to have something to raise/call (although the call was trival w/ your 3bet size) so you have to put him on a range of hands that includes AT+, 99+ I don't know if I would have C-bet here.

Turn nice to get a free card.

River, only 4 hands to worry about AA, AK, AT, A7 I like the bet and the call

3-bet more preflop. Check/call flop. Find a way to get it in on the river.
