CC Friday donkament, dealing with an EP raise and an awkward stack w/ AQ

1 fold, UTG+1 raises to t450, folds to hero, standard shove or no?

Obviously if the raise comes from much later position we shove here, but can we shove over a UTG+1 raise?

err withot being a math wizz i say we have to fold

we shove only hands tht beat us or race us are calling so u want to wait for better spot and against ccers with ure rep easy steals to come if u choose to do em they a passive lot u know

as Doyle Brunson says, "AQ os is one of my least favorite hands in poker" because it just isnt as good as it looks. I say fold here too.

Folding should be pretty standard. UTG+1 just committed almost 1/3rd of his stack, and should be looking to call any re-raise here, AQ just isnt strong enough here, your fold equity is small + your stack whilst approaching the danger zone is large enough to have a sizable amount of fold equity.

Having said that, sitting there after a bottle of wine, unable to chat, id probably shove.

if we are going to shove we need guy to have some fold equity which we dont after he puts 1/3 of his stack in so yes its pretty standard fold. Unless guy is silly he is calling any shove so yea fold it and be happy.
