I'm not trying to be a jerk in any way shape or form, but what exactly is wrong with this hand as played, aside from a speculative call with two suited cards out of the SB?..He flops a flush draw and decided to check and call a miminum bet to hit his flush on the turn..Hits it on the turn(a straight flush draw to boot),checks to induce another bet, and re-raises with a made hand.. I can't see anything wrong with it all..It's late, maybe i'm missing something here?

I don't see anything out of the ordinary here; just a poorly played flush draw.

Maybe post a question with your HH  We don't really know what you want analyzed....

You mean the big bet?

Well maybe he got afraid of a higher flush rivering him, or maybe he got too excited :D But yeah he couldve gotten more money off of that.

VERY VERY VERY VERY sorry, LOL, forgot to put the question

Um yeah, surely with the nuts you would not raise 2000, it is the pot yes, but surely a serious overbet

It's not the nuts. He had a Jack high flush. The nuts is 7h, 9h. Even an Ace high flush would beat him and I think that's what he was thinking and didn't want anyone who had a Q, K or A of hearts to outdraw him.
