You are representing a big hand here. Your bet of $60 is showing weakness here. The only time you would want to do a bet like that here is if you had caught a set to entice more. You needed to do the same bet as the PF or more. You are leaving to much room for him to land something. Just because he didn't doesn't mean you did good here.

This is a heads up match. You need to take control of the game. Basically any face card you raise. You do this for a few reasons. You want to show strength in your hand. You want to knock him out with any marginal cards. And you want have a good base to build on when your cards hit. You let him hit his set by not taking control right from the beginning.

Never check with a hand like that on the flop. You are giving him control. Heads up isn't really about what you have but what your opponent thinks you have. His raise was correct in that position. He had a small pair, a str8 draw and a flush draw. You were lucky he didn't connect on any of them.

Heads up and a hand like this is an all in hand on your bet PF. At this point you know this guy is trying to catch so take his money.But don't gloat. The moron comment was completely unnecessary. He could have gotten 4 queens on the hand and then who would have felt like the moron? And I've seen it happen with pockets rockets have been broken by crap hands.

Overall you let your opponent too many chances to catch a better hand than you got. Heads up play needs to be more aggressive than regular play, IMHO.

Mischman, i'd point out the following as well

1) on the first hand, you've got 1,260 chips to the moron's 1740, so the moron has taken 240 chips form you. How?

2) on the 2nd hand, despite winning 400 chips on hand 1, the moron's got the same lead as he had then, so he's won back the 400 chips from you? How?

3) By 15/30 level (i.e round 2), you've got AA, 10 10 and 9 9 (which flopped a set), plus another hand when you've got 2 pair. I play a load of H2H P'Stars games, and don't remember getting 3 big pairs in the first 2 levels.

Mischman, there is an old quote in the sales business and it goes something like, if you can't make the sale you should always leave the customer in a good state of mind so that the next guy can make his sale. Same goes for poker, you may not play him again but we (we being the collective poker community) will play him, and I personally hope he just keeps playing the same. I really think the comment was rude and just not good manners. Goes back to the old don't tap the glass thing.
