Well, lets see.

-You didnt raise preflop. Your opponent raised, giving you a chance to reraise, but you just opted to call. Even after another person called the raise as well.
-On the flop, you bet out really small with your over pair. Your opponent raises big! and you just call. Why didnt you push right here? You're practically committing yourself.
-On the turn you push all in with a boat. Your opponent also has a boat as well. Good call by him.
-On the river he gets lucky and hits is 8 for a board of 888/44 to beat your 444/99.

So, where is this bad play/bad call on your opponents part?

I would have gotten out after he raised on the flop. He raised pre-flop and post-flop which tells me he's either holding a higher pair or maybe hit his set on the flop... I'm new though so don't kill me if thats a bad call :p

^^^ good point. That flop reraise was huge and he did raise PF as well. I think in that situations with 99 and your stack at what it was, you were either folding or pushing after his reraise.

i dont like the flop play much ;_;. i dont see why you bet into him with a very hard hand to call a big raise with on that flop. either check/shove or check call imo.

What is there to analyze? Shouldn't this go under Brags and Bad Beats?

he was largest stack, he can afford to play lower aces, i usually play AJo+ and A10s+ sometimes A-10o in position with a regular stack.

with a stack well above avg stack, its not that bad to play aces as low as A6s and A8o.

i can understand not putting him on A4, but A8 isnt that far fetched. with the big re-raise on the flop i think you should have put him on big-8, overpair(TT+), a four, or stone cold bluff.

the way you played it, you look like you thought he didnt hit the flop at all but werent sure he would call you if you re-raised all-in on the flop, or maybe you were just scared he had a 4 so you wanted to check the turn, but you already committed half your remaining stack with that call so even if an 8 comes up, you might as well risk it since you're getting like 6:1 on your money if he's bluffing.
