both, he stuck with the gutshot, but you should have checked the river. you had the 4th best hand by then. He was a donk for sticking around after the turn. Play the same hand many times with him, he's not gonna nail the gutshot everytime.

everything looked good maybe bet a bit heavier on the flop since there is so many drawing possibilities out there. but by opp. actions he doesnt seem like he was going anywhere. id say good play against a stubborn donk. as ck said he wont hit the draw most of the time.

wow, I'd luv to be hyper critical of your play here, but, you played the hand SOOOOO much better than donky villian.

Seriously, wtf were they thinking? The only decent move is calling allin when they hit the 4 outer on the river, when you get very unlucky. What can you say?

I play with a few chasers(calling stations?) live, and they mostly donk off their chips, but occasionally hit, and win big pots with bad beats. Instead of blowing up and rant-rave about how bad they play, I take my hit, gracefully, and complement them on "GH, The best hand won", "Best 5 0f 7 cards...", pablum, argh! Then shake hands and offer no advice, other than to encourage them to continue to play 'their game' against me.

Guess that makes them more 'fish', than 'donkey', but they generally like me, enjoy playing with me, and ATM me, many more times than their weak play will hurt me bad in a big hand. Just a little psychology there for ya...

it was a freeroll, so they are full of donkeys. Preflop raise was good. bet on the flop was nice, but since its a freeroll and you must know your opponent didnt have your kings beat and was on a draw(either straight or flush), I'd go all-in(yeah nice overbet) any none-heart turn that doesnt pair the board or isnt T.

i usually push hard when i got good hands...
try to play better hands with morons ,its usually get me profit...

hmmm, I think you made the correct bet preflop, the postflop bet is what got me.....I think you make the big bet here...maybe 20 or even 25k flush draw on the board. but then where do you go?? Beyond that, I don't know where you go...

I mean there is a flush draw a straight draw, and you don't have top kicker either. So, maybe you go all in post flop?

You also could have checked it down?? I'm leaning toward this now...(hindsight is 20/20 yanno) I"m not sure how much info you had on this guy....but once you made the post flop bet, you were going all the way..and so was he once he made the call.
