Definitely an action board...

Raise the flop to see where you're at, and if he pushes then you can easily fold. I think calling is the worst action on this flop (aside from folding :p); you give villain a chance to outdraw you with say AJ, or QK or whatever, and you don't get any info as to where you're at in the hand.

As Chuck said this is an action board. The other guy limped then called your raise so his range includes all sorts of scary stuf. I'd probably reraise the flop and hopefully that would provide enough information to get away (if he reraises all in on the flop I probably fold). However early in a tournament I'd sometimes play it exactly as you did and take my chances to double up.

I reckon I go bust here over 50% of the time and lose a whole bunch of chips the rest. And I like laying down good hands, it makes me happy.

ChuckTs & Irexes advice is spot on.

Although personally I would raise a lot more pf, say $250-$300 range.

But since you were the raiser pf, define your hand on the flop by raising as ChuckTs noted. If you're reraised all-in, your 95% sure you're beat.

Minus any reads on your opponents, as Irexes said I too go broke in this hand 50% of the time also. Sucks.

What we should do, and what we do do?

Who amongst us folds trip aces. I layed down KK last night to an AAxx turn big bet. Proudest moment of my yesterday.......
