he was a very loose player so i was almost positive he hit the king but is there anything i did wrong? or just a bad beat?

3:1 isnt necessarily a bad beat, just a very loose call on his part. good job dropping this on the flop.

No way of avoiding this, your preflop raise of 6BB was good enough.

Actually, you made a great laydown.

I think the PF raise is a bit high -- 4x BB is about all you need at most. I usually do 3BB.

i agree x6 BB is too much here. I would have stuck with x3BB

I think it's brilliant. You got him to call 6x BB with the worst of it and then you folded when he caught something. I don't think it gets much better than that.
