I was sitting with exactly 1/2 the average chip stack and an M of 4. (60 left, was ITM at 72.) This guy wasn't a button raising machine, but a reraise from the guy to my left had taken it down an uncontested pot a couple of times. So with nearly a 5x BB raise, do i shove or fold here?

Reraise all in, I would expect him to fold but if not you still have a good hand and need to make a move before your stack is insignificant.

Ugh, nasty spot. I prolly jammy whammy this thing. AJ has enough of his stealing hands dominated, and we still have a shred of fold equity left. Your M isn't big enough to do a lot more waiting.

Keep in mind we're trying to go final table deep. Busting out now, and 20 places later probably doesn't have a huge difference in payout. And people go nuts once the bubble breaks.

Shove. The raiser has a huge stack and may possibly be trying to steal the blinds. Your stack is dangerously small at that level- you need to steal the blinds at least once an orbit to stay viable, and that's extremely difficult as short stack.

While there's a chance he's trying to steal the blinds, I'm putting him on a pocket pair J-J or bellow. Anything higher than J-J and he probably would have tried to slow play it. Your shove will likely generate a call and you'll be down to a race.

God I hate Ace, Jack.

I'd probabably shove here too, only because a fold is too weak given your stack size and a call leaves you with a nasty decision about what to do after the flop when he pushes again. Chances are you won't get a beter hand to make a stand with before your chips dwindle to nothing.
