I'm very happy with my performance in this tournament, placed 12th out of about 500 players, but I think I coulda made a final table if I just pushed with AJ the second time instead of calling. My M was about 3-3.5 when I made my first push, and about 4-5 during the second hand. Here were my reasons for limping and not raising. First, the table was mostly tight so I figured I could see a flop with a reasonable hand. Second, two seats were empty so I had to go through less players, so it was like I was in third position at a full table, and I normally play AJ os from third position. Third, I'd just pushed all in the hand before and won the blinds and antes, which was a massive boast to my stack, so I'm not as desperate in the second hand as in the first hand. Anyway, I limped in and it was folded to the small blind, who raised. I've seen this player raise from UTG with A3 offsuit and J9 suited since I was at this table. So now I put him on Ace rag or just flat out bluffing. Anyway, was this a horrible horrible play? Should I have folded AJ in such early position or should I have shoved?

push next time - no reason to give the blinds a free flop with those antes out there -

You M in my opinion was too low to limp with so many to act behind you, if you were going to play it shove it, that was your best chance of getting them to fold around to you. Because you had just stolen the blinds and picked up another good hand was a great argument to shove right away. The table will start thinking you are a bully and decide to call you down with any two reasonable cards which is what appears to have happened. Other than that you got in ahead and lost not much you can do about that.
