I mean you state that the player is loose enough, so because of that reason you have to think of all the hands that a Loose player would call you with...Then you have to add in the factor of how many times has he Used this Line? Does he usually have the Goods when he uses this line? I personally would Fold here And Wait for a Better spot, But that's just me

Hero can either bet smaller on flop and turn, or check back the turn and get to a much cheaper showdown on the river.

As played, you may as well flip a coin, he could be bluffing/value betting a worse hand, he could have the straight, who knows.

Im with WiZZiM that you should bet smaller on flop and turn or check the turn to not escalate the pot but as played i think you should fold.... wp by him if he's bluffing
