I'm not a big fan of the pre-flop raise, it's for 20% of our stack, if we get shoved on we can't really call, and often times we'll be flatted by the cutoff or button and we're stuck out of position, which obviously sucks. So I think I just fold it.

On the flop now, you're obviously not going anywhere, so the question is do you shove now or try to rope your opponent in (some aggression stats would be helpful for this). Well first off what kind of range does a 61/5 have for donk betting 1bb into the pot here? Usually this sort of bet means that he has some sort of weak made hand, like A4 or a random J. It also could be a draw trying to get to the turn for cheap, but a 61/5 isn't likely to be betting with a draw, he's likely to be check/calling. So if we call here, he probably has some outs against us, but probably not more than five, so we're not that worried about letting him catch up. Will he fire the turn if we flat? With that range, probably not. So then if we shove here, is the villain going to be folding those hands? I would say no.

So, cliff notes - I'd just shove it in and expect to be called by worse.

I don't mind the raise because 5 handed KQ is strong and with 14BB's raising 2.5x is ok if we have the intention of going with it. We can also fold to a 3-bet shove from a tighter player or snap off a LAGtard. As played I agree with CJ, shove the flop and expect to be called by trash/flush draws and they might fold some of the time

Well we actually have less than 12.5bb's but that's kinda splitting hairs :p

Correct lol, its only 8.45am :D, still like a raise here as KQ is strong 5 handed and hits a lot of flops aswell as being well ahead of a 61/5
