This week I'm looking at two spots that look similar on the surface but I think their results are surprising. Thanks WiZZiM for submitting this hand, and thanks to all who participated!

umm, at simple look big pot looks yummy.

Thinking some, blinds are huge let me see.

Almost 4000 already there and cost 1780, but if fold you still have 12bb, sb will have only 3bb and winner of hand could have 4000/6.5bb (if win BTN) or 3000/5bb if win CO (and BTN with like 1bb left) but you will still be leading with 12bb.

If call and you don´t win will go down to 9bb and will give winner another 3bb to 9bb or 8bb and bye your lead. If you win then pretty much you can have the game in the pocket but with that hand is tough (and you already are in a good lead), other players could be sharing outs but if some one have a 77+ you are down, if some one have 44 or lower and the other AX you still not that good, so pretty much you need to be very lucky to win the hand.

I preefer to fold and let them take out each other you still will have 12bb vs 6bb vs 3bb, way better than call, most times losing and now with 9bb vs 9bb vs 3bb, the reward don´t look so good when you already are in a good spot.

I fold.

It actually only costs t1180 to call, I don't know if that changes your decision or not Logan.

Your right CJ, not count that we already put 600 in, that do make some difference.

That give us almost 4 to 1, when lose still will be 10bb vs 8-7bb vs 3bb, and our hand should have more than 25% of equity i think, so i guess we should be calling.

(however, 10-tabling, seeing 2 allins before and looking to my 56o probably will be folding).

Man, i need to get SNG Wizard.

This is a tough one. When having a big stack like this, I usually prefer to put pressure than calling with weak hand and double a player. So, yes, this is only 1180 to call and you have almost 4 to 1... So, almost ATC is correct for a call there. I would fold.

What SNG Wiz is saying on this one?

I hate doubling up people with crap in these situations too but I'd call and you do get the added +EV of people not shoving light on you. People hate playing with a loose big stack and you'll get a walk in the BB a ton of the time when people fold a lot of hands they should be shoving.

Worst case if we call is we've still got a 10BB-ish stack. Best case is we knock out both players and go straight to heads up with a huge chip lead. Most of the time we at least break the bubble and still have the chip lead. Calling works for me.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well, maybe I could, but now we'll never know.

We couldn't care less about losing 1.1k, but being HU with a 5:1 chip advantage would be freakin' sweet.

Yep, I ended up calling getting something like 4-1 on a call, was pretty standard in my book, though the players at the table didn't really appreciate it much.
