Ok so I was comfortable sitting on 35 big blinds and we were about 30 places off the money bubble with people going out fast. Obviously I want to cash but my priority is picking up more chips so I can go really deep hence why I played this hand in this tricky manner.
Would anyone argue this was the wrong way to play it and I should just bet flop turn and river to get him to fold hands like 910 before he hits trips on the river.

He probably isn't folding to a turn bet though, guess it's just bad luck?

well he wasn't folding his has. Since we don't know his range i would have made an overbet with this hand maybe. Or you could just have gone all in preflop. I believe everybody was shortstack, and maybe someone would have called, and if not you took the blinds. I would have done this maybe, but it is bad luck, since your opponent was not going to fold.

You didnt tell info about your opponent. But looking at the hand I think it was played well. It's always annoying if the opponent gets his out at river...but you have to get over it and continue playing like this.
