You made a post a while back where you noted that a certain player bets too many paired flops. I'll bet you have a note like that on him too. You limped w/44 for set value and would have let them go if anyone else had called the raise, but a small pocket pair isn't a horrible hand heads-up against an agressive player even out of position, and you were drinking. So you called.

When you saw the paired flop you knew he would bet with any 2 cards, and only the ten was problematic, so you check raised and nearly puked when he called. But god loves the Irish (that's what my mother tells me) and he delivered the 4♦ on the turn. A lesser man would have dragged that monster, but not you. There were too many cards out there that could have left you looking up at his over boat.

Almost correct Four Dogs, didnt feel i needed actually much of anything once i seen the turn card to make a bet like that, I had 200(ish) hands on him, i was 70% certain he was folding. Actually i was sober
