$.50 NLHE MTT Deep Stacked: Would you play unsuited gappers in this spot?

This is one of the FT Experience formats. Everyone started with a million chips and the blinds started at 10K/20K

I folded the SB here for only 15K more and then wondered if that was the right play. But maybe I am only wondering that because of the flop!

So what's the best spot for unsuited gappers in general? Or even suited gappers, for that matter

With antes I think, it could be ok to complete a hand like T8o, but letting it go is certainly not a big mistake. To be honest this seem like another results oriented hand history, that would never have ended up in the forum, had it not been for the fact, you would have flopped trips. But even 72 offsuit can flop trips, so this totally does not matter.

I wondered that myself in the original post. But I am interested in hearing suited/unsuited gapper strategies so decided to post anyway. I should have left the results off.

I think, this one is really close, so its probably dont even matter, what we do. If I am busy with other tables, I would just fold, if I am feeling a little bored and have a big stack, lets see a flop. I would definitely complete with T8s though. Having a suited hand just gives so much more playbility postflop.
