$5 NL HE STT: Was this hand played correctly?

Hey all. I think this hand was very standard. Been on a little downswing (1 cash in 10 sng) and i have been questioning every play i make. Just would like your opinion on this hand.

His vpip is 35 and pfr is 4.
Stacks:
SB with 5360
BB with 1820
UTG with 1540
BTN with 4780
hand.pl

Blinds:
Site: Full Tilt Poker
Dealt to BB:A♣ J♦
Sklansky group 4
Preflop: Hero raises to 275
UTG calls [275]
2 players folded.
Total folds this street: 2
Potsize: 650
Flop: 3♣ K♠ A♠ Hero bets [500]
2 players fold.
UTG calls [500]
Potsize: 1650
Turn: 7♦ Hero bets [1,045, and is all in]

I didn't put my opponent on a hand that was beating me on turn. I have seen him call a lot throughout the sng. I had him on a draw or a ace rag.

I think i would play the hand the same way again unless you lot tell me differently.

a player must have been eliminated, so the button is seat 7 and the sb is missed.. must have mucked up the convertor..

preflop raise is kinda marginal.. postflop since were on the bubble id try for pot control.. prob check the flop.. keep it small.. pick up bluffs etc

that's what i would normal do but i knew this guy was very loose that i thought betting for value seemed the best idea. He called and i was sure my hand was good still. i pushed turn and got called by bottom set. Whata unlucky flop. I really shouldn't say the result of the hand.

i sngwiz the pre-flop raise and it says i should have folded.

sng will only tell you if a given push or fold is good/bad, shoving 18bb's here would be a bad shove...

it wont help you in situations like this..

and yeah, best to not say results until you get some more feedback

well for me personally in this spot i probably fold AJ utg with 18 blinds and the big stack to my right who is playing a lot of hands. yes we probably have the best hand pf but we are oop. also the BB has a big stack as well so could potentially be in a 3 way pot. I prefer to wait for a better spot.

Of course this is just my opinion and keep in mind I am a terrible M=yellow-orange zone player so...tifwiw.

Pre-flop you gained no information with your raise. Get some info or get out... imo. I'm not sure if he woulda called with a hand that you would post the history for. Your bet on the flop also could have looked like you were trying to steal. I don't know how you've been playing throughout the game so I don't know what their image of you is. Also important to note that the guy you're playing has a lot more chips to yours, he's willing as you said to call down, esp. if he thinks you're makin a play.

Actuallly its 4-handed :) I know this only makes more of a point for you.

I am way too nitty but I dont usually open fold AJ 4 handed. Im just saying this situation feels bad. You're not getting a fold and your oop. and you may be in a 3-way pot. not an ideal situation with 18 blinds left.
