Looks OK to me. Villains most likely hand is TP with a slight chance of the nut FD which would be real bad. Can't see villain having a set here. So 2 overs w/ the 2nd nut FD is 15 outs plus the runner runner ST8 possibility.

Another reason why I called was because if I folded then I would have donated about 1/4 of my stack. I knew I was a very small favourite if he had a small pair.

i think getting it in here is fine, what sucks is that his bet is more likely to be the nut flush draw than a pair, but I still think against his total range a call is good (i think that made sense).

I think a read here would help a bit. Could be that he has a pair but if your opponent is loose/bad he could have two pair here (meaning he had to play 9 5, 5 2, or 9 2 OOP). That's the type of hand that is strong enough to check raise shove but too weak to smooth call with a FD showing. Still, considering that would be a terrible call preflop, it's less likely....Am eager to see what villain had.

Ehh tough decision.

It depends on how skilled my opponent seems/aggressive/passive.

If he is passive/I feel like I can outplay him i'll muck here. If he is seemingly skilled or aggressive then I might make a call here.

Most of the time I might muck due to me seeing myself as a fairly good heads up player and I can get back and outplay them.

outcome?
