My play would have been ..flat call pre. Check behind on the flop & take a free card and take it from there.

you played it fine.

I'd probably do about the same except lose a little more with a bigger Cbet on the flop.

You had a straight-draw, so it will be better to check and get the turn card for free. I think your opponent had something like top pair or two pairs. His raise speaks about that (more likely).

I wouldn't have bluffed on the flop because he also showed preflop aggression even calling your reraise.

IMO you played it fine. I would have taken the free card and REV. after the turn card, use your position.

Not really sure how 'calling' a 3bet preflop out of position would be considered an 'aggressive play'?

I think in this hand it is for sure player read dependent on how I'd go about playing it. ie.
is villain raising often when it's foled to them in SB?
what kind of history have we had vs. villain?
what kind of history have we had vs. villain in BvB scenarios?
How has villain been playing postflop.. in pos.,... out of pos.?
Is villain a winning player?
What type of player is villain?
How does villain view our play?

All this stuff (& more) will depend upon how I choose to play the hand.
(could give you some examples of how I'd play this hand vs. different player types/styles)

its looks like he had some pair or a picture with a 10 so you played it fine but if you were planing to give it up to a Re-raise then its fine just to check behind and take a free card and suck him out if you can.

This is one of those situations where it is much more profitable to be OOP..

Cbet its not optimal , in flop better check because now we have only Ax and gutshot , and if villain have nothing he fold in turn on our bet ( villain can check twice , because we can think about what he steal ) Because 3bet its very strong range...

Pretty standard fold with AQ, in fact I am folding AK here, based on how villain played the hand you're going to be up against sets the majority of the time here.
