It's easy to say FT decisions shouldn't sway you (Easy to say, hard to actually do), This was the 4th FT of the morning thus far (well near FT), the other 3 I busted 1st on the FT (Back to the question).
So I'm sitting In like 7th over-all, and we're 1 away from FT, and I mean 1 player Is near dead In the water, we also have the CL of the entire game on our left (In the SB when we're on the BTN).
Now we've got a decision, and If I fold, simple (I make another FT)+I can do better than a "Min cash", now to get to that stage and do that will requires a stack and while I'm In the middle of the "pack per-say, I'm more than confident enough with that "area". The Issue I was facing was this damn CL, I mean I wanted/I needed to bring this guy down a notch or two maybe more, a-lot more, and not for any dumb reason, but because he was "taking all the spots" and because of that I could never take a "single spot during bubble, or near ITM" (As he just was A.I+A.I+3Bet A.I). So I get 9s and really didn't wish to shove as their we're players under me/smaller than I, than It dawned on me "I'm not here for 10th/9th/8th/ I want 1st/2nd/3rd", so I went for It, "Knowing more than likely the CL was calling with something decent".
My question Is this, If we know the player will call us (We're like 70+sure), should we still be shoving 9s vs a player like that In that situation
