Not much on this player since I just moved tables. He's been short stack and folded for a full rotation before shoving here. Seems to be playing short-stack pretty selectively, so I'm thinking any pair, big ace, or possibly big K suited. I'm pretty short myself, sitting at 21/24 left.

What is my play here being in EP with small pair. I know I'm def. not just calling for set value. If I shove, at worst I'm flipping with SS shover. Worst case scenario: big stack behind me wakes up with a hand and I'm probably in big trouble, but I think I'm low enough in chips where I have to shove here...

Is folding small pair here an option?

If we were BB I'd say call, but here I'm pretty certain it's a fold.

I'm with CJ on this one. It's an easy fold. Let someone else deal with the short stack (or not), and pck your own spot to shove, if you are so inclined, later.

Not to mention that you UTG+1, this is bad pos to be playin 44. Even if you shove someone behind you might wake up with AK/JJ+. So as others say, fold.
