No stats on villain but I know from playing against him previously that he's a fairly TP (tight/passive) player.

full tilt poker No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t150/t300 Blinds + t25 - 4 players

Check it here and on the turn and give him a chance to put more chips in. I doubt that you can bet very large here unless he has an over pair or 2 spades but you'll find that out after you check. Now if you are in the habit of donk-betting then by all means bet 600 here if not a donk-bet should raise big suspicions with the opponent.

First I say re re-raise pre flop. Make it another 1200 at least from the BB with JJ. If he calls or 4 bets then you will see just how strong he is at least. You wont be folding JJ here anyway.

On the flop this is check raise and maybe even the turn. For the river you will be betting at least 1/2 the pt I would even be willing to make it 3/4

I'd 3-bet pre-flop. As played, I'd try to c/r the flop, we can't really expect our opponent to double barrel this, since you described him as fairly passive. If he checks behind, we have to bet.
