Nah I dont mind the call but the bet on the turn is too large, you can get away with like 500. It is still enough, dont even need to be half pot.

At this point you have to give him respect or put him on 89 and soul read call ldo/

Why the bluff on the turn card and yet you did not reraise the flop if you wanted to bluff? The turn is a pretty obvious blank that is not helpful to whatever you came in with so it is pretty fishy and doesn't make a good story. Can draw one of two conclusions - you were either slow playing or out right bluffing. So let's assume this guy isn't a donk - what table image were you giving off to get him to buy into the slow play vs the bluff? Again, going with this quantum leap assumption, if he put you on the bluff then he has to decide were you just trying to steal blinds with ATC or were you betting two high cards (AQ, KQ) and act accordingly? Or he was just a donk - but the question of the donk for the real player is - What did I do to put myself in position to get hurt by a donk.
Just some things to ponder.
