Here's a hand from a STT tonight that I'd be interested to get opinions on:

pokerstars Game Tournament $5.00+$0.50 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level III (25/50)

Table '224461617 1' 9-max Seat #2 is the button
Seat 1: (495 in chips)
Seat 2: (925 in chips)
Seat 3: HERO(1755 in chips)
Seat 4: (4560 in chips)
Seat 5: (2570 in chips)
Seat 7: (1875 in chips)
Seat 9: (1320 in chips)

HERO: posts small blind 25
BB: posts big blind 50
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to HERO [8s Kh]
UTG: calls 50
: folds
: folds
: folds
Button: calls 50
HERO: calls 25
BB: checks
*** FLOP *** [8c 3c Kd]
HERO: bets 200
BB: raises 400 to 600
UTG: calls 600
Button: folds
HERO: raises 1105 to 1705 and is all-in
BB: raises 2805 to 4510 and is all-in
UTG: calls 1920 and is all-in

*** TURN *** [8c 3c Kd] [Th]
*** RIVER *** [8c 3c Kd Th] [Ac]

My initial reaction was that UTG made two awful calls, but I am not certain - any thoughts?

Given the insipid PF action followed by some lively betting, if I had UTG's hand I'd be putting the other two on just the kind of hands we had, with one holding 33 a possibility. Putting the hand into pokerstove shows UTG as being 30 - 35% against most reasonable holdings, the only hand they would fear being AcXc.

Incidentally, my all in was designed to get UTG off a drawing hand and a fold or loose call from K9 type hands from SB. The only way I was expecting a call was from SB holding K3, K8, 83, 33 - hence the Kc4c call was a bit of a shock from UTG.

Thanks.

I'd add a bad call from the SB preflop :). Once the flop came K4c just saw a flop that he hit really hard and his mind exploded, and he was getting all in no matter what.

Uh... what cards did they have?
Who won the hand?

Early in a $5 S&G I stack with two pair. Lots of worse cards call.

It's hard to give a good feedback, because you didn't post their hands, we can't figure out their thinking about the hand.

Oops, sorry guys - in editing down the HH I removed the Hands! They were:

Hero: Kd8h
SB: 8d3s
UTG Kc4c

I hope it's clearer now...

I'd probably make the call in the sb with so many limpers. I'm surprised people are limping in with 83o. o.0 But, whatever...
