check/fold is correct when there are no stats on villains, a high probability that one of the players will have top pair or better in 3bet multiway-pot.

fold there, you're not in 1st place very often. Also the size of his bet it's kind of top pair bad kicker, just to protect it.

This is just another case of playing two loose players, one is aggressive.

I agree though, even we would have won the hand, that what you did is still the correct move.

you can jam these preflop in low level sng you should get called by plenty worse like JJ TT 99 AQ AJ etc. Not really a bad result as we're flipping vs a bunch and crushing the rest. This might not be applicable to the $3 games today, but will definitely still be applicable in the $1 games.

But you played it fine imo, raise size is pretty good preflop, though we can make it smaller as he's raised 4bb, we can make it like 11bb there isn't any need to make it larger, QQ postflop will still encounter overs like 40% of the time, so we need to factor that in our tournament gameplan, saving chips is pretty cool in tournaments so making it smaller here is a good idea, and it won't really affect value, because we can move our stack in pretty easily with an 11bb 3bet.

As played checking flop is great, and folding to such massive resistance is also a good idea, these hands happen and you have to learn to be able to let them go easily in game. The thing is in SNG you don't need a ton of chips to be able to cash, so these tournaments are never won in the early stages, so don't be afraid to hero fold a ton of these hands and possibly let people bluff you off hands early, because when you go into beast mode later and jam a really wide range, they will never want to play with you again ;).
