Just wondering if I could have played this differently to extract more chips from the opponent. Looking at his history he had been folding to all cbets on the flop so I let him start the action.

Yep, Don't wait until the river to start raising, the pot won't build itself...

Preflop: I would have raised more. That hand is minimum 4X the big blind (of course, it depends what kind of players you are facing).

Flop: Reraise. It would give you a good idea if he is on a draw or a nine.

Turn: Yeah, just calling is fine. You got the 2nd nuts so you hope he cathes his flush or straight.

River: Good. Reraising here is what I would have done. Your opponent seems like a loose aggressive opponent. You were lucky he acted first.

Thanks for all the input so far. Normally I would be reraising starting at the flop with a hand like this and probably just flat on the turn to let him draw out, but the way this guy was playing was very timid post flop. He'd fold to any pressure and just throw out min-bets on every street.

Had the Q not come on the turn I would have been re-raising there to hopefully end it before the river, but with the boat I wanted him to try to get a hand.

I think I should have made a bigger raise on the river for sure looking back on it.
