I think that is a call, opponent has ~9bb, he should push here pocket pair, I'm not sure if 55 here is right, a little risky IMO. Besides he should push something like AT+, so finally with AK on the big blind it is a call, I don't see a reason to fold. It was coinflip, so sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Take care

55 is a standard shove even without antes.

And yes OP, as stated - snap call with AK and be very very happy about it.

Ak is pretty much always a snap call when a shortstacked shoves? There's been times I've folded it when 2 are already in it..,

depends, you usually can't go too wrong with it, but bubble situations can dictate you fold it sometimes.

I fold likewise. I dont want to call the all-in. I should be doing the all-in.
