poker stars $3.00+$0.40 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t10/t20 Blinds - 10 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: t1480 M = 49.33
BTN: t1560 M = 52
Hero (SB): t1480 M = 49.33
BB: t1500 M = 50
UTG: t1500 M = 50
UTG+1: t1500 M = 50
UTG+2: t1500 M = 50
MP1: t1500 M = 50
MP2: t1480 M = 49.33
MP3: t1500 M = 50

Pre Flop: (t30) Hero is SB with 7:spade: K:heart:
4 folds, MP2 calls t20, 1 fold, CO calls t20, 1 fold, Hero calls t10, BB checks

Flop: (t80) K:club: 5:spade: 4:club: (4 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP2 bets t100, CO calls t100, Hero calls t100, BB folds

Turn: (t380) Q:club: (3 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets t360, CO folds, Hero folds

Not that I look at this I think I should not have called preflop; I think to call here the kicker would need to be a 8+(not that it would have made a difference)

EDIT: I"m thinking since this is a SnG instead of a MTT I should fold these basically everytime?

fold pre. K9s, is maybe a call, but K7off?, you cant hit any straights and if you hit TP, it's going to be difficult to play. As played, i think im folding the flop, weird as it sounds. But it certainly pays to be cautions early, he fired such a bit bet on the flop, and got called by the CO, i know they are both horrible players, but we can let this one go. but yeah, try to complete with hands the have potential to hit postflop, like 78s, or K10s etc.

Fold pre imo. I probably would have led the flop, hopefully we can narrow the field that way, then play pot control until showdown. As played, I would also fold to the flop bet.

I love saving chips in this scenario, they add up over time.

Fold pre, save the 1/2 blind....

I don't particularly like leading the flop, it is such a weak move that screams I don't have much.

What about K9o/KTo, would that still be a fold in this spot? What about a MTT would it still apply?

Fold pre, I lead flop with a bet of about 50 hoping for just one caller and then firing another bullet on turn depending on what falls

Folding preflop has merits as K7o is tough to play post flop if you hit top pair because you could so easily be outkickered and just lsoe a big pot, but you're likely only to win a small one.

But its so cheap just to call and see a flop.
Having called preflop I prefer betting out and folding if we get too much action rather than check calling.
