Am I right in thinking that we should be folding here and finding a better spot or do we think villain ever has like Ax or some sort of flush draw or weak pair they're bluffing with?

Also should I have bet more like pot bet or maybe even over bet the flop.

I think folding here is a good idea as we can be against a straight or a two pair that beats ours. also the bet size made by villain is fairly large and so calling here does not seem to a good idea.

I don't think making a pot bet would have been a good idea as there is a possible straight on board. Making an over bet would definitely have been a bad idea for the same reason. Why would you want to risk so much. You only have bottom two pair and not necessarily the best hand. The way you played it was perfectly fine.

seems fine to me.

He calls pre, and calls flop, then suddenly he is in love with the jack! this is never a bluff in my experience. Even if he had a better two pair, i'd think that jack scares the living crap out of him, even really bad players know that there is a 4card straight on the board.

This would be a straight almost all the time here.
