probably a terrible fold here. but I've never played this big and I figure this deep this early in this kind of tournament (wcoop) I was only really bluff catching right, he has to have A10 or 44 right?

I like your line of thinking, wanted to control the pot without betting the turn, thought the villain's range, had no risk because the tournament with 2 pairs. NH.

Hi, For me this is too passive with your AK. In this flop my 3/4 pot with tell stack and bet to 411. In turn i think that should be check/raise; when you not 3bet and only call his raise. This slowplay in turn without check/raise is not good for me

Are you Ok about 215$?
I don't know about this, possibility Ak, AQ, Aj or A10?
4/4? how much early or late blinds? because 4/4 is throw away for early.

Bad fold you are playing scared. Maybe $215 buy-in is a bit to high for you to play comfortable.

This is a very important issue. If you do not feel comfortable with the game does not make sense play because you do not play the best

Tough spot.

But post analysis is great and easy. But I think he had AQ, or AJ. He flat calls your pre-flop raise and post flop, he re-raises. Possible hands AT, or 44. Turn comes K, you check and here's the problem. When he be 1118, you should have re-raised and get a read. He re-raises, you fold. He calls, you bet river. And if he re-raised, you fold.

Here's why he didn't have a fullhouse or a set. His river bet, its not value, its OTP. If you had something he would be dead, so doesn't make sense for that bet. So you should have called (no matter how hard and after your kind of play), but I wouldn't have been in this spot at all.

Thanks for all the advice, I did realise after posting the hand that I really should be checkraising the turn. This would get me value from hands like A10 or worse and if he comes over the top I can easily put him on 44 and fold. As played I put myself in a stupid spot on the river when probably the worst card in the deck hits and I face a bet of 5425 into 4347 and I ended up folding because I didnt think he would make a massive overbet bluff on the first level of the tournament. It's only just occured to me though that the line I took had me underepresenting the strength of me hand and if he really did have a hand like 44 or A10 then he would probably make a smaller size value bet on the river.
Hes obviously polarized on the river, but perhaps he may well have been bluffing or turned a weaker hand into a bluff. It seems then that despit the fact I went into the tournament telling myself not to play scared, I did end up playing scared anyway. Oh well, it was a learning expierence and didnt cost me anything because I freerolled my way into the tournament.
