$2 NL HE STT Turbo: SB with 99 on the bubble facing shove from smaller stack

Blinds were 150/300. If I called and lost I would have 3 BBs left. Villain had been min-raising a decent amount to steal...I figured he was committing himself here so he must have some decent holding, but I felt like 99's were too strong a hand to fold. BB was pretty tight so I wasn't worried about an overcall. Can I fold here?

With your read on the BB, this is fine by me. I'd think that UTG range will be wide enough for you to be ahead here. Kinda sucks that the Q hit the river instead of a 7 or a blank.

Given the read on the BB this works for me. There's a small (very small, FWIW) chance UTG was on a pure steal and will fold but most of the time we'll be flipping the villain for a chance to cash with a little bit of dead money in the pot - like you said, 99 just feels too strong to fold here.
